I started Paws on the Go in Boston, MA in 2005 and enjoyed a very successful business for four years. I had previously worked at a veterinary clinic in Arlington, MA and trained as a veterinary technician. After starting my business, I decided to attend Grad school. After graduating, I worked in the mental health field for five years. As much as I enjoyed my experiences, I came to the realization that I had *already* found my happiness five years prior when I was taking care of animals for a living. I was excited to embark on this business once again in Portland and Kennebunk in 2015. I was born and raised in Maine and very happy to be home. I recently hiked 1200 miles of the Appalachian Trail which soldified by desire to spend my time outdoors with the animals I love. My "other" business partner is my beloved chihuahua, Barnaby, who I adopted after losing my long-time friend, Bailey (australian shepherd mix). Bailey loved his playgroups and is always with us in spirit.
I also started Scapegoats in the Spring of 2016. Please check it out!
Timber is a fellow dog/cat lover who worked for Paws on the Go for two years before being promoted to partner. She is reliable and genuinely cares for every animal she meets! Timber resides in Falmouth and covers the Portland area.
Barnaby was a stray in Mississippi. He was rescued and transported to a foster agency in Maine. Timber and I walked Barnaby (previously named Barney) for several months while being fostered by our client. During this time, I lost my aussie/lab mix and soul friend of 13 years, Bailey. Barnaby had already managed to steal my heart, so I adopted him myself! Barnaby is five years old and has been living the good life for almost two years now.
